Akridge Named New President in Wake Forest

Congratulations to the Wake Forest, NC Chamber of Commerce in naming Marla Akridge President and CEO of their organization.  Marla most recently served as President of the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce in Ohio where she successfully led that business community for the past six years.  Akridge serves on many national committees and currently is a Board of Regent for the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management in Athens, GA.
 
We wish Marla the absolute best as she is a long time friend of ours and a wonderful leader but a better person.  She starts her new position in December of this year.
